Cleaning Your Wooden Kitchen Cabinet is as Easy as A, B, C!

Wooden finish in our furniture is one of the most elegant designs and even until now, wooden furniture is mostly preferred in most homes. This is because of the beauty and class it provides when placed in a particular area of the house. Furthermore, wooden furniture look expensive hence a brag to guests inside the house.

We always wanted to maintain the look in our furniture similar to the moment we first bought them. Yet, there are many factors that may diminish the value and the beauty of each furniture through the years. If such happens, some people would decide to throw away the old one and buy a new one.

That could be great for people not minding the cost of buying another furniture. However, for those you consider cost as a priority, proper handling of your furniture as well as other things will lessen the tendency of having defunct furniture in our houses.

Let us take for example a wooden kitchen cabinet. As you can see, a wooden kitchen cabinet is one of the most popular furniture in the house and even the most used furniture. Hence, more touching here and there, and more appliances and other items placed inside with constant in and out of each items. This would result in scratches, damages and chipping off of the wooden finish in the kitchen cabinets.

Moreover, there are external factors such as dirt and other grime that build up in your kitchen cabinets for months or even years. There is also heat that causes your wooden kitchen cabinets to go dry and look old which could lessen the elegant effect of the wooden finish.

Although some of these factors are unavoidable, you can do something about it. With regular cleaning of your wooden kitchen cabinet, you will lessen the dirt that tries to build up. You do not need some special cleansers or other special stuff to take away dirt from your wooden kitchen cabinet. A soft cloth washed in gentle water and mild soap will do the trick.

Rub it firm in the wooden surface but not to strong as to chip off the wooden finish. If ever stains or other grime will not come off with soap and water, try mixing 1 cup lemon juice with 2 cups olive oil. Your lemon oil will easily take off that hard stain in your wooden cabinet.

If you constantly clean your kitchen cabinet as well as any of your other furniture, you will have them good as new. You may not make your wooden kitchen cabinet last forever, still you managed to add more years for it.
